A little from Michelle, Group Leader Alumni, and visionary mama:

For both Sheila and Me, the feeling of community and sustainability, and what that really means relationally, is an inspiration for providing this retreat for both teachers and participants.  The ideas behind the practical aspects of tangible sustainability in local commerce, local food and food propagation, and sustainable building, will be shared at Indigo Star. But there's another aspect of sustainability that is nurtured and created in gatherings like this and that's one of shared community resources and shared relationship. We really hope relationships are formed within this gathering that support each others soul life work and nurture the belief in relying on community.

Within the schedule we've left a lot of time for meals, siesta and spaciousness, we feel it's very important that there's an integral slow pace to the weekend that is not rushed or harried. This is our offering towards acknowledging the expanded opportunity for self-care and self-love that exists in slow spaces.  We've also made sure that there is movement offered during each session block throughout the weekend. We will have nine tracks to choose from during every session block and there will be at least one option for movement during each session.

"A wholistic retreat held with the purpose of encouraging the feeling of community and teaching sustainability, meditation, yoga, plant-based eating, and networking", according to Beaman.
