New Mama: The Postpartum Year

Mothers with babies in their first year postpartum are warmly welcome to join a weekly gathering at My Healthy Beginning. Each week we will focus on a different aspect of the postpartum year as we learn how to create a nurturing practice of self-care and receive wisdom from special guests and each other. We will learn gentle games and songs to nourish our baby’s senses and connect in a joyful way. Together we will create a community of support and collective wisdom while learning nourishing ways of connecting to your family and your center – all while snuggling our babes.  Come as you are!

Mondays from 10-11am, with time following to enjoy a nourishing snack and casual conversation with other mamas.  After registration, look for a welcome email in your inbox with more information. Based on the work of Kerry Ingram and Mothering Arts.

Some examples of themes and special guests:

Tips for self care during the winter season for mama and baby: special guest – essential oil specialist and yoga teacher

Songs and games to build connection and development: special guest – Children’s music teacher

Perinatal mood disorders: special guest  - Psychologist with tips for adjusting to life with new baby
