Grandma Mary sent in a recipe for cookies that everyone can eat and make in a snap. Free of gluten dairy and sweetened with bananas. I’m making them tonight, thanks Mary!
“I recently found a dairy,wheat,sugar,egg free recipe for cookies! Smash up 2 bananas, add 1 cup gluten free quick oats, and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (Or more)…and a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg. Mix all of the above well and press each cookie on to a cookie sheet (I greased with a bit of coconut oil). Bake 10-20 minutes on 350 degrees. After 10 minutes they needed more baking…so I put back for about another 10 minutes. How nice to have a healthy cookie…although the bananas certainly add to sweetness. Children can easily mash up the bananas by hand and mix it all together”.
