This little cow eats grass

This little cow eats hay

This little cow drinks water

This little cow moos all day

This little cow does nothing, but lies around all day.

We’ll chase her, we’ll chase her, and we’ll chase her away! (tickle little toe and run up under baby’s arm)

Touching games are a fun way to nurture a loving connection with your baby.  Try to make diapering time a delightful time to connect and laugh by including a game or song. Babies will grow to look forward to the changing table when they know a fun little game is part of the routine. If you have a special game that you play with your baby, please share with us.

The Wind

Shhh say the tall trees blowing in the wind. (Baby is on lap facing mom, gently caress from top of head down to feet with both hands)

Pitter patter pitter patter, rain is falling down. (Your fingers make rain drops on  baby’s head and shoulders)

Flutter flutter, leaves fall on the ground. (Mamas hands gesture leaves falling from above onto lap)

Tony knows. (touch baby’s toe, knee, and nose gently.)

Tony Chestnut knows I love you. (touch baby’s toe, knee, nose, heart, your heart, hug)

Bumble Bee

Bumble bee, bumble bee (forefinger and thumb together are the bee)

Comes from the farm. (bee flies around slowly)

Gets little baby, (lands under arm)

Under the arm. (gives a little tickle)
